Our Values

We work in partnership with Central Lancashire NHS Primary Care Trust, Lancashire County Adult and Community Services, West Lancashire District Council, West Lancashire Council for Voluntary Service and other statutory, voluntary, charity and private organisations.We inform, support, promote and fund carers and parents’ health and social care services and activities, and we listen to, inform and support carers and parents with our practical actions.

Our Objectives

  • To offer information and support for all carers in West Lancashire, keeping them informed about all new and existing services and assisting carers to know what is available to them
  • To find hidden carers through awareness raising, an outreach service and drop-in sessions throughout the community
  • To offer a telephone helpline
  • To provide a Carers’ Information Pack
  • To produce a free quarterly newsletter with informative and interesting articles written by, for and about carers and their caring role
  • To hold a voluntary database of all carer
